Analytical studies can take many forms including data analysis from V&V test results to finite element analysis (mouldflow, stress analysis, virtual impact testing, drop testing and fluid/thermal dynamics).
The Innovate 3 team use these tools to optimise designs and identify, mitigate or eliminate potential critical failures in terms of both manufacturing processes and the end product.
Analytical studies may be carried out at any stage of the design process and the data collected used to re-evaluate and refine the product under development.
