Our experience in this field includes the development of the next generation of artificial spinal disc replacement devices.
Innovate 3 have partnered with their client in the development of artificial disc replacements, designed to closely mimic the human spinal disc. Innovate 3 were engaged for their expertise in defining and maintaining the mathematical relationships across the range of device sizes. Working closely with their team of scientists and engineers to understand the biomechanical requirements of the device, Innovate 3 developed the 3D engineering data. The team designed a novel range of moulds to manufacture the device as well as liaising with the supply chain in the development of the tooling used to manufacture this ground breaking surgical implant.
